REFLECTION

     Overall from this semester I have learned a lot of things from my class which is English 102 Literature For The Soul. Overall I had a really amazing experience by myself and with my peers I feel like this class helped me grow as a person and to look at things more openly. Not only my skills in writing and thinking advanced but so did my confidence in sharing my personal ideas and opinions because class felt like a safe space to express myself. I feel like my thinking skills can sharpen and it can help me outside of the classroom especially with expressing my own ideas and even how to make my ideas more advanced. I also feel more comfortable to share these ideas with my peers. 

    I feel like I grew as a thinker because now I question my own ideas to make them better.After listening to my peers' opinions participating in fish bowls asking my peers for their opinions on certain assignments I feel like my mind expanded and I grew as a thinker as well. Due to the new skills that I have learned in class I feel like my mind has advanced. I also feel like I advance my vocabulary more and it could help me with other assignments that I have to do for my other classes. After practicing writing with all the homework assignments, pubs, fish bowls and lectures I feel like I learned a lot of new skills and how to improve my writing. I feel like now I question myself before I write before I wouldn't do that. 

I feel like all the skills that I have learned in this class will help me in the future not just with writing but with my overall life. Due to me now questioning my own ideas and beliefs I feel like I'm more open minded. I feel like now I can listen to others' ideas and not just convince them that mine are more accurate but to question my own. Another thing that I had learned that could help me outside the classroom is the ability to be able to express myself openly without feeling judged. I feel like now I'm not shy to share my own ideas. Overall I feel like I gained a lot of skills from this class.
